Roman Estandarte – Founder & Director
Roman is an independent filmmaker with a mission: to tell powerful stories rooted in truth, history, and heroism. As the driving force behind JWS Indie Films, he specializes in gritty cinematic narratives that spotlight the courage of real people — including the brave Salvadoran soldiers of the 1980s.
With a background steeped in logistics, military history, and production design, Roman combines old-school authenticity with modern filmmaking tools. From drone shots and Canon cinema cameras to immersive soundscapes and AI-assisted visuals, he brings indie films to life with heart, precision, and purpose.

Amilcar is a multifaceted creative professional--with expertise as a drone pilot, video editor, choreographer, and screenwriter. As a valued member of the JWS Indie Films team, he brings a unique blend of technical skills and artistic vision to every production. Whether capturing aerial footage, shaping a dynamic visual narrative in the edit suite, crafting compelling stories, or designing movement with intention, Amilcar operates at the intersection of storytelling and visual innovation.
At JWS Indie Films, his contributions are marked by precision, creativity, and a holistic understanding of film craft--from choreography--led scene design to drone--shot sequences and polished final cuts. This combination of talents allows him to support projects across all phases of development, production, and post.
